Hongqi E-HS4 Electric SUV Introduced in Nepal at Rs 57.99 Lakh; Price, Range and Features

China's luxury automotive brand Hongqi has launched the E-HS4 in Nepal at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 at a special NAIMA price of Rs 57.99 lakh, down from its regular price of Rs 59.99 lakh.

The premium electric SUV features a 67.1 kWh battery, 160 kW motor, rear-wheel drive and up to 420 km of claimed WLTP range.

The Hongqi E-HS4 measures 4,520 mm in length, 1,873 mm in width and 1,647 mm in height, with a 2,750 mm wheelbase. It gets a rear-wheel-drive layout and uses a permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor producing a combined maximum output of 160 kW and 240 Nm of torque.

Power comes from a 67.1 kWh battery pack with a 404.4V charging platform. The battery carries an IP67 rating, while the E-HS4 offers a claimed WLTP electric range of up to 420 km. The SUV has a stated energy consumption of 16.4 kWh/100 km under the WLTC cycle.

DC fast charging allows the battery to charge from 30 to 80 percent in around 20 minutes, while the vehicle also supports V2L functionality with a maximum output of 3.3 kW.

The E-HS4 features a sleek exterior with an integrated panoramic glass roof, semi-hidden door handles, LED headlights and daytime running lights, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers and a power tailgate.

The tailgate also features position memory, while the rear luggage compartment offers 393 litres of capacity, expanding to 1,300 litres with the rear seats folded.

The SUV rides on 18-inch wheels, with 225/50 R18 tyres at the front and 235/50 R18 tyres at the rear. It uses MacPherson suspension at the front and multi-link independent suspension at the rear, while braking duties are handled by ventilated discs at the front and disc brakes at the rear.

Inside, the E-HS4 gets a technology-focused cabin with an 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster and a large 14.6-inch central touchscreen. The interior features bio-material seats combining silicone leather and suedette, along with a synthetic leather steering wheel and multifunction controls.

The front seats offer six-way power adjustment and four-way lumbar support, with both front seats also getting ventilation. Other interior features include 64-colour dynamic ambient lighting, automatic climate control, a 15W wireless phone charger and a 12-speaker audio system.

The E-HS4 also features heat-pump technology and Cell-to-Chassis technology, while the cabin gets a front single-zone climate control system and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold.

Safety equipment includes driver and front passenger airbags, front-row side airbags, side curtain airbags and a far-side airbag. The SUV also gets electronic stability control, ABS, electronic brakeforce distribution, hydraulic brake assist, traction control, active rollover protection, dynamic braking function and multi-collision braking.

The E-HS4 comes with a comprehensive driver assistance package. It features adaptive cruise control, lane centering control, automatic lane change, intelligent speed assist, traffic sign recognition, front vehicle departure warning, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist and emergency lane keeping.

Blind-spot detection, lane-change assist, door-open warning, rear collision warning, 360-degree surround view, transparent chassis view and reversing image are also available.

The SUV also features a driver monitoring system camera, life detection radar, driver drowsiness and attention warning, advanced driver distraction warning and child presence detection. A five-star E-NCAP safety rating is also listed for the E-HS4.

The E-HS4 is introduced in Nepal by Advanced Automobiles, the company that also represents Renault in the country.
